01

Get TestFlight access

The household invitation does not install the beta. Ask the owner for the current Nudge TestFlight invitation, accept it with your Apple Account, and install the newest build.

02

Check your Nudge access

Purchase a membership, or—if the purchaser shares Nudge with your Apple Family—tap Restore or check family access. New Family Sharing access can take up to an hour to appear. Also confirm that iCloud Drive is on and Nudge has iCloud access.

03

Open the authorized invitation

Have the owner authorize you first. In Nudge, the owner enters the exact email address linked to your iCloud account, or your phone number including country code, then shares the link Nudge prepares. Open that fresh link on a device signed into the same iCloud account. If Apple asks you to verify the invitation, finish that step and return to Nudge; joining is complete when the shared people and tasks appear.

04

Choose who is using the device

Select the household person who is active on this device. Tasks created or completed from the app can then be associated with the right person.

Family Sharing is not a household invitation. It can unlock the paid app, but only the owner’s separate CloudKit invitation grants access to their tasks and people. Old links can stop working after the owner changes or stops sharing. Discard the old link and use a newly prepared link authorized for your exact iCloud account.
